Kynoch became Head Coach of the North Shore Junior Twins in the fall of 2010, and has found good success since. He was pleased to be given the opportunity to coach with the Twins and be reunited with fellow Sasky, Larson Bauck, then the Premier Twins Head Coach.
Kynoch grew up in Saskatchewan playing football, hockey and baseball; the latter included stints with the Saskatoon Cardinals, Blue Jays and Aces, as well as Team Saskatchewan. As a member of Team Saskatchewan he played with Larson Bauck at Canada Cup in 1999 and against Brooks McNiven at the 2001 Canada Summer Games. After high school he played one year at the University College of the Cariboo (now TRU) and one year at Douglas College.
Prior to joining the Twins, Kynoch spent two seasons as the Head Coach of the Burnaby Minor Bantam AAA Braves, winning the Provincial Championship in 2009, and one year with the now defunct Vancouver Cannons.
Kynoch presently instructs at the Bullpen Baseball School in New West and is in his fourth year as the Technical Director of Player Development for New Westminster Baseball Association. He has also coached with Baseball BC including at the 2012 BC Summer Games and PNC and AZ Fall Classic tournaments.
Outside of being a Baseball Enthusiast, Kynoch spends his remaining time as a Life & Health Insurance Advisor and mixes in the odd DJ set around town.
